When I saw Angie's photo of her cute little dog I thought it was extraordinary as it's taken looking up through a piece of glass! This is why she appears upside down. I had to draw it but it was easier to draw the right way up!

I started with Albrecht Durer Water Soluble Pencils to lay down some background colour.

Putting in detail of the fur with pencils.

This drawing took around 18 hours and the fur was a real challenge but looked good at the end.
