I started with this drawing by completing Jake's eye and then putting down a light layer of directional pencil.

Starting to build up the layers, filling in the nose and marking where Jake's missing eye is.

As the layers build the light and dark markings on the fur gradually appear, whiskers are put in.

The client asked me to frame Jake for him, and then I produced Giclee prints so that he could keep one after he had gifted the framed drawing.
