This drawing is of Jim a family friend who has his barn cat on his hat. I loved the composition of this photo, the look on Jim's face and the textures of fur, material and glass that I could explore in the drawing. This drawing was exhibited at the Broadway Arts Festival Exhibition in 2023.

This original drawing was drawn on white A3 Claire Fontaine Pastelmat board. The pencils used were Faber Castel Polychromos, Caran D'Ache Pablo and Derwent Lightfast.
The drawing is mounted with a white mitred mountboard, the mitre having a black edge. The frame is wooden and a distressed blue-grey in colour. There is a hanging wire attached to the back of the frame.
Although this drawing is produced with lightfast pencils please do not hang in direct sunlight, as the quality of the drawing may be affected over time.
